For the coming three years the Dutch Freesia growers of Royal FloraHolland will work together with Flower Factor on the promotion of Freesias.
During the campaign #FreestyleFreesia, Flower Factor wants to share a different view on the Freesia. Although the flower is still well loved, it is traditionally used in wedding bouquets and as an extra in flower arrangements. Flower Factor wants to show just how versatile the flower is. And in what ways the flower can be used as the star of the show.
Flower Factor will ask different types of florists to freestyle with Freesias. In this #FreestyleFreesia video series you’ll see new talented florists, well known floral designers and some of Flower Factor’s ambassadors, sharing their vision on and ideas with Freesia. In that way florists will be inspired to use the Freesia in a surprising way.
Young florist and Flower Factor employee Roos van Unen, is pleasantly surprised by the Freesia: In the flower shop I work in, we mainly use the Freesia as a single flower in field bouquets. But the freestyle session we had, really opened my eyes. The flower has so much more to offer!”
Besides offering inspirational photos and videos, Factor Factor will also emphasize the natural parfum as a unique selling point. Last but not least we’ll look into making new combinations with other materials in bouquets, as the Freesia is still used a lot in bouquets.
Flower Factor sees a lot of opportunities for the Freesia to make a comeback. The #FreestyleFreesia campaign can be found online as well as offline.
